Yorkshire Townhouse

The owners had lived with a poorly designed kitchen on the first floor of their five-storey townhouse for a number of years before embarking on a refurbishment to create a bespoke family kitchen and utility room.

The Martin Moore designer opted for a linear layout to create an airy and eminently practical design with clear sightlines to the beautiful, period windows. A faux chimney breast was built to house the range cooker and to create a focal point. Clever use of colour, lighting and seating, including the bench seating, unifies the space and the Martin Moore Stone porcelain floor adds a final practical, yet beautiful, finishing touch.
