Secluded Private Estate

Setting a new kitchen within the former pool house was a challenge, with French windows on two elevations and internal doors on a third. Our designer responded by cleverly building the kitchen into just one wall and aligning it with the beams above. The symmetry was crucial, putting a cooking zone and island (linked by a hard wearing tiled floor section) centre stage. A multi-function Aga is flanked by large dresser-style cabinets, each with a dedicated purpose, and the multi-purpose island is framed by dropped level furniture at either end; one a desk and the other fitted with a refrigerated wine chiller and charging drawer for family gadgets.
