Two large flats in this stucco-fronted Georgian property were lovingly combined to create a stunning London home. It required great sensitivity and expertise to design a kitchen to sit within this exceptional interior scheme.
Our clients wanted a kitchen with two clearly defined purposes: a comfortable and practical family space and a hard-working area to cook and serve when entertaining guests. In the end, the perfect solution was to create two adjoining, complementary kitchens.
Sited next to the large formal dining room is the "wet" kitchen with range cooker, larder, large fridge and dishwasher. The long central island is ideal for plating-up several dinner courses and for pre-dinner drinks to be served. Housed in the orangery at the other end of the room is the family kitchen with its large island for more informal cooking and dining. Capacious storage and a large breakfast cupboard keep all necessary provisions and chinaware close at hand.
