Scottish Victorian Townhouse

Undertaking a complete refurbishment of their Edinburgh townhouse, the owners looked to create a kitchen to match the grand Victorian architecture. Martin Moore’s New Deco kitchen, featuring elegant panelling, was a perfect choice, with the bespoke cabinetry built with extra height to meet the impressive elevations of the room.

As keen cooks it was important that the kitchen was both well-equipped and a comfortable space for cooking, eating and entertaining. To achieve this, ample storage was incorporated with the generous top locker cupboards accessed by a sliding library ladder. Standing against the dark and earthy jungle-themed wallpaper, the furniture is hand painted in two complementary shades of blue inspired by the wallpaper itself.
