“Trotte” Lake Zurich

Located within the grounds of a large house by Lake Zurich, this Trotte (an historic winery) is specially designed in every detail as a Club House where the family spend private time cooking together, watching movies and relaxing with friends.

The Martin Moore designer was commissioned to design all of the bespoke cabinetry and wooden panelling throughout the house. The concept is “organic minimalism” with the emphasis on strong profiles, natural materials and textures. The colour palette is calming and muted, paying homage to the antiquity of the building and creating a powerful sense of warmth and cocooning. Martin Moore’s stone division completed the project with stone floors and wall cladding throughout the house and garden. The master bedroom suite features dramatic black slate floors, shower cubicles are finished in split-faced slate and the guest bathroom has a striking monochrome floor in bands of marble and slate.
